Enter and explore the World of Musical Theatre at Spindrift!

Graduates of Spindrift School are notoriously well-rounded performers, and much of that stems from involvement in our musical theatre program. However, these classes do so much more than produce the enviable “triple threat”; they cultivate a love of music, movement and language all while creating friendships that often last a lifetime.

We heard you loud and clear! The students this summer LOVED performing! We are rolling out a model for Musical Theatre III where we switch from a “presentation” class to a fully staged, directed and choreographed production! The show will be Matilda Jr. and is a much-beloved, wickedly funny Musical Theatre International Broadway Jr. show.

This class meets 2x a week on Monday’s and Wednesdays. We will have three performances over the 19th and 20th open to the public and advertised as a Spindrift Production (Tickets $10) at the end.

Our new Artistic Director and Director of Dance will be Directing and Choreographing. Gary D. Ferguson comes to us with hundreds of shows under his belt and the last several years, doing children’s theatre almost exclusively. Eric Stephenson, who directed summer camps all summer for us will also be on board as the vocal director.
