Production Manager, Part-time

Spindrift School of Performing Arts seeks a part-time Production Manager to oversee the production elements of the various performing arts classes, camps, and two all-youth, main stage productions of the school yearly. Duties include coordinating with Directors, Designers, and other production staff on all areas of production management, coordinating technical staffing as needed for camps, classes, and main stage productions, overseeing the maintenance of lighting and sound equipment, overseeing the School’s set and prop storage, supporting the build of sets, props, and costumes as needed, coordinating the stocking and purchasing of class, camp, and show production materials, including craft supplies, and collaborating with and tracking production budget with Executive Director. The Production manager will work approximately 20 hours per week based on project. Regular meetings on site at the School as well as the residency sites in Pacifica necessary. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years production management experience in theatre, enjoy working with children ages 3-18, be creative and resourceful, dependable, have a positive, can-do attitude, and a reliable car. Costumer, Part-time

Spindrift School of Performing Arts seeks a part-time Costumer to oversee the costume needs of the various performing arts classes, camps, and two all-youth, main stage productions of the school yearly. Duties include coordinating with Directors on costume vision and timeline, understanding and maintaining the Spindrift School costume stock, collaborating with the Assistant Costumer on costume builds and creation, support the building and making of props, and collaborating with and tracking production budget with Executive Director. The Costumer will work approximately 20 hours per week based on project. Regular meetings on site at the School as well as the residency sites in Pacifica necessary. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years Costume experience in a theatrical setting, be adept at sewing and/or costume crafting, have the ability to read and interpret theatrical scripts in terms of costume needs, enjoy working with children ages 3-18, be creative and resourceful, dependable, have a positive, can-do attitude, and a reliable car.
