Updated 3/13/20

Dear Spindrift Families,

In line with the updated recommendation earlier today by San Mateo County, in-person classes and private lessons at Spindrift School and at public schools in the Pacifica School District will be suspended through Saturday, April 4. If you participate in a Spindrift class at a preschool, private school, or a school outside the Pacifica School District, please check with your school for information on whether Spindrift classes will continue at your location or contact me directly at amy@spindriftschool.org

Our instructors are actively exploring distance learning options for suspended in-person classes during this time. We hope to share some of these opportunities with you in the coming week. Many private instructors will also be conducting private lessons virtually through various online platforms. Please contact Private Lesson Coordinator, Keira Robalino at keira@spindriftschool.org or at 650-738-8648 for more information about your instructor’s schedule.

Thank you for your understanding. Please stay healthy and safe.

Warmly,

Amy Cole-Farrell, Executive Director

 UPDATED 3/12/20

Dear Spindrift Families,

Spindrift classes and private lessons taking place tomorrow, Friday, 3/13 and Saturday, 3/14 WILL be in session at all locations.

Beginning, Monday, March 16, classes and lessons taking place at the Spindrift School site and on public schools sites in the Pacifica School District will be suspended for two weeks, or more, in line with the closure of the Pacifica School District and a move toward distance learning at this time. If you participate in Spindrift classes at a preschool or private school, specific information regarding classes at your location will follow.

We are actively exploring distance learning for our classes and private lessons through various online portals and will communicate any updates on these options as soon as they become available.

Families may request a credit toward a future enrollment for any missed classes that are not able to be conducted through distance learning or made up at a later date. A process for requesting this credit will be made available shortly.

We appreciate your ongoing support during this challenging time.

Warmly,

Amy Cole-Farrell, Executive Director
