We are preparing for summer!

While this is an uncertain time for us all, the Spindrift School staff continues to prepare for our summer programming as scheduled. As new recommendations from health officials become available, we may find that our summer programming will need to be adjusted in various ways. Should this happen we will notify registered families immediately as well as post changes to our website, social media, and through direct email. Families will have the option of changing their registration before the start of camp without penalty. In the unlikely event that our summer programming be cancelled entirely, families will receive a full refund. To help support families through this challenging time, we are extending our Early Bird discounted camp rate through the end of Summer 2020. Sibling discounts and tuition assistance are also available to qualifying families. We continue to dream of summer and hope to see you all very soon!

TIME: 9am to 3pm Actor’s Studio  creates an excellent opportunity for  young actors and actresses alike to be involved in a three week, fast-paced, theatrical production.  This annual actor’s workshop/camp involves the students as onstage performers as well as behind the scene production crew members lending their help in props, costumes, and  set work. Auditions are held 3 to 4 weeks prior to camp starting and students must arrive the first day of camp with their lines memorized. Having a good time and a good attitude is mandatory! The entire process is dedicated to creating an ensemble that is unstoppable. It isn’t about whose part has more lines, It’s about being a part of something bigger than ourselves.  Space is limited to the amount of roles available, so sign up early. Students perform a full-length production for 3 performances at the end. Script and pizza day included.

IMPORTANT INFO:  All registrants are required to attend an orientation approximately 3-4 weeks before the start of camp where they will audition and be cast ahead of time.   All students are expected to arrive the first day of camp with their lines fully memorized!!!  Please understand not everyone receives a lead role and before you sign up for this camp be willing to happily accept any role you are given.  Due to the time constraints of this camp along with the nature of creating the ensemble cast, all students are expected  to attend all of the camp days (rehearsals) with no absences and must be on time daily ready to play, work, and learn.  Please do not sign up for this camp if you have conflicts during the 3 week period.

This camp is for dancers of all skill levels and styles.  Auditioning and casting for the show will be done over the first week. Pizza day included.
